Welcome to LCRN

Working to solve London's resource challenges sustainably, through community-based waste prevention, reuse and recycling.

LCRN is London's one-stop-shop for community resource management. Members in our network work with resources like electronics, food waste, real nappies, furniture, computers, and textiles. We connect local authorities, housing associations, SMEs and the public with our members, and provide best practice, training and environmental audits.

LCRN works to help London manage resources sustainably; to maximise environmental and community benefit. Our vision is that of London as a city where communities, enterprises, and the public manage resources sustainably.

Our membership is made up of a diverse mix of individuals, charities, community groups, social enterprises, businesses, and statutory organisations, all working together to use resources sustainably, reduce impacts on the environment, and benefit local communities.

Have a look at this video from our colleagues North London Waste Authority (NLWA), changing attitudes and the way we think about waste.

Transform enables Groundwork London to give time and materials to support local community groups transform their rundown and underused green and open spaces into thriving community resources.
WasteSmart Advanced

Waste Smart Advanced is a one day course designed to offer accessible, practical and sustainable waste and resource management skills.

It is essential for anyone new to the sector, anyone who has an interest in reducing the environmental and financial impacts of waste and anyone who has to deal with waste and recycling on a day-to-day basis.
