The London Borough of Hackney and LCRN have worked closely together on a variety of different projects for a number of years. As well as being our 'home' borough, a large number of our members are based in Hackney and have benefited from a positive relationship with the council.

Ander Zabala, Waste Prevention Officer for the council, attended the CRN UK/LCRN annual conference to discover how, as a local authority, Hackney might be able to work more closely with the community resource sector. With a particular emphasis on waste minimisation, Ander has been supportive of new composting initiatives and is part of the Real Nappies for London campaign steering group.
