The Leaside Wood Recycling Project rescues some of the fine and beautiful wood destined for landfill, incineration or otherwise from across London.

The wood rescued is available for sale. The Project also has a highly skilled team of craftspeople and carpenters who offer their services and create stunning pieces of furniture from the rescued wood.

The Project is a not-for-profit environmental group and, apart from a small amount of voluntary labour, is completely financially self-supporting. Any surplus made is reinvested or given in grants and loans to other local environmental groups.
