Manuela Romeo - Project Executive (Environmental Services)
I currently work on two projects, Build South London and the North London Waste Authority (NLWA) home composting. Build South London is an ERDF project that aims to link South London’s building service businesses together. Within this project I am responsible for delivering environmental and carbon audits and for providing businesses with solutions in order to reduce their carbon emissions. The home composting is a project funded by the NLWA, its main aim is to make residents more aware about waste prevention by providing them with compost bins and information about home composting . Within this project I am responsible for coordinating and organising the events. When not working on these two projects I provide business with analysis of environmental performance, especially energy and waste data analysis. I have been working at LCRN since September 2009, I started my career as an intern and was previously responsible for Local Authority administration within the Real Nappies for London project. In my spare time I mainly practise yoga and pilates, socialise with friends and cook delicious meals using only vegetarian ingredients.
