Charles Craft - interim Managing Director
Bringing his professional experience of logistics, supply chain management and sales as well as excellent leadership and management, Charles will lead the team through the investment process and into effective service delivery.
Richard Featherstone - Development Manager (Central, West, and South Clusters)
Founding boardmember, longtime chair, and now life president of Furniture Reuse Network, Richard managed a large appliance and furniture reuse centre in Leicester for 12 years. He is now involved in establishing the London Reuse Network as a knowledge-sharing, practice developing peer-support network. He is a London Leader with the project of transforming London's reuse performance.
Caroline Lee-Smith - Development Manager (North Cluster; Pan London Bikes; Local Authority Contracts)
Also known as the Bulky Guru, Caroline has focused on helping local authorities and their contractors divert bulky waste from disposal routes and back into the local community via the third sector for the last 8 years. Formerly Partnership Director of the Furniture Reuse Network and a leading consultant used by WRAP, Caroline is the author of “Bulky Basics” (2006) – what she terms the sector’s bible for this area. She has successfully started to lead the North cluster through the investment process and will also assist in developing contracts with local authorities.
Caroline Peat - Development Manager (East, South East Clusters; Pan London Paint)
With a background in Operations and Business Development from both the business and charity sector in banking and Corporate Social Responsibility, Caroline leads the development of her two regional clusters and upcoming Pan London clusters through the investment processes. Caroline will also lead the development of the Marketing Strategy.
Mariam Ajadi - Development Manager (Housing Association Contracts)
Responsible for new Bright Sparks small WEEE reuse and repair project in Islington, and for supporting the formation of reuse networks in Surrey and other areas just outside London and linking these effectively with London's reuse networks. Passionate about sustainable waste management solutions - volunteered with the Community Recycling Network MSc in Environmental Technology at Imperial College London - DEFRA funded dissertation focused on incentives to reuse in the UK. Subsequently, she worked for London Remade Solutions and as a Development Officer for the Furniture Reuse Network.
Sarah Rothenberg - Head of Corporate Services
A chartered accountant with fifteen years’ experience providing specialist commercial and procurement advice to the public sector, Sarah will set up LRN’s systems, policies and processes, manage finances and ensure that regular and robust volume and financial reporting is carried out to assess progress for stakeholders and delivery partners. Sarah will also be heavily involved in helping partners to understand the funding available and how to apply for it and in collating and assessing commercial contracts and business cases for funding schemes.
James MacDonald - Data Manager
Holding the Master Model and measuring the outcomes against the targets for both LRL and the projects involved in LRN. He will also be developing the financial templates to be used for projects' submissions to LRL for funding - to see if they stack up, and identifying financial vulnerability.
Lathika Jayamaha - Finance Assistant
With a background in accounting and an ACCA affiliate, she will assit withbook keeping and finance planning as well as some variance analysis.
