Alex Rainbow - Project Manager: People and Resources
I manage 2 projects within LCRN; REalise, a training and work placement programme for 16-24 year olds sponsored by Trust for London and London Reuse Ltd and Bright Sparks, an electrical reuse, repair and recycling project based in Finsbury Park and run in partnership with DigiBridge CIC and Islington Council. Both projects have a heavy emphasis on training and development of people to give them the skills and experience they need to get into the green economy in London. I also work as the North Cluster Manager for the London Reuse Network, helping bring reuse projects in the North London area together to work more effectively and to maximise the impact of investment from London Reuse Ltd.

In my spare time i am a musician (if you can call a drummer that), gigging and touring regularly with bands. I also have a passion for reptiles and own 4 snakes, as well as conducting herpetological surveys around my area. If you see a copy of Nature Magazine on the tube or bus in the morning take a look behind it and you might just catch me lost in an article about high energy physics or paleo-climatic reconstructions.

Hilary Joy Vick - Project Manager
Newly responsible for LCRN's Real Nappies for London project, Hilary Joy is a renowned entrepreneur known for setting up and running Nappy Ever After, the Kings Cross social enterprise that collects and launders nappies for families in Islington, Camden and Hackney. As a leading retailer of Real Nappies, she has strong links with producers of Real Nappies everywhere. HilaryJoy is also an expert advocate for Real Nappies and has worked with Women's Environment Network and pre-school nurseries across London to increase use of real nappies.

Alice Walker - Projects Assistant

Graduating from The University of Plymouth in 2010 with a BA (Hons) Geography degree, Alice is currently working as the administrator and marketing assistant for Real Nappies for London. From issuing RNfL vouchers to helping Hilary develop the RNfL scheme, Alice is here to help parents in London learn more about the alternatives to disposable nappies. You will also find her hovering around the office doing a few office assistant roles here and there. In her spare time, Alice likes to play the guitar, play some football with the South London Football Network, socialise with friends and family, and attempt to learn some Spanish in seven weeks.

On my iPod / What I’m listening to right now: Bombay Bicycle Club, M83, School of Seven Bells, The Cinematic Orchestra, Ben Howard…. And much, much more!
