The event took place at the House of Commons on the 18th November, with Emmaus launching a research report they had just finished with Cambridge University (yes, Cambridge) on measuring the financial and social performance of their community in Village Carlton (to have a look at this report visit: www.emmaus.org.uk/sharing-in-success)

The speakers included: Hilary Armstrong MP;Christine Whitehead (Prof. Housing Economics, Cambridge University) and Anna Clarke (Research team); Margaret Beckett (Housing Minister); Tim Page (Director Emmaus); Harry Enfield (Comedian); Terry Waite (Emmaus UK President).

The main body of the presentation was reporting the findings of the Cambridge research team in their report
