ECO Computer Systems

ECO Computer Systems is an innovative social enterprise created to benefit our planet and our children. We offer IT recycling and IT refurbishment facilities to householders, businesses of all sizes, local authorities, schools and not-for-profit organisations. We use all recycled PCs to create training centres to enhance the computer skills of the unemployed and those on low incomes. As such all profits made through recycling activity will be invested in providing training courses and, at the end of the course, in providing each attendee with a free, refurbished PC that they can take home.

Emmaus South Lambeth

Emmaus Communities enable people to move on from homelessness, providing work and a home in a supportive, family environment. Companions, as residents are known, work full time collecting renovating and reselling donated furniture. This work supports the Community financially and enables residents to develop skills, rebuild their self-respect and help others in greater need. Companions receive accommodation, food, clothing and a small weekly allowance, but for many, the greatest benefit is a fresh start.

Experts in Volunteering
