Giving World Online is a website that offers a solution for busy companies and organisations that do not have the time or resources to find people that can benefit from their surplus goods.

The website is designed to allow organisations to redirect goods into their local communities, through a network of bona fide charities and community groups; providing much needed resources and making a meaningful difference to the lives of vulnerable and isolated people.

Giving World Online is provided free of charge (minus transportation costs) to both donors and recipient community groups.

They have a growing number of Furniture and Electrical (F&E) stores across London, which sell a wide range of donated furniture and brand new items from sofas and bedroom furniture to fridges, washing machines and televisions. By recycling and donating your good quality, unwanted furniture or electrical items to F&E stores, you can help save the environment and help save lives. The Charity supports those with illness in a variety of forms and makes on average around 75 free collections from donors per store per week using a network of self employed van drivers.

give2give is a re-use and recycling charity based in Bromley. It was established in 2003 by two local residents and its charitable aim is;

‘to improve the lives of local people across Bromley and the community they live in, not only for today but for generations to come’.

give2give re-uses and recycles furniture, clothing and bric-a-brac donated by local people and raises funds for local good causes through its four retail outlets; two furniture stores and two charity shops in Hayes and Petts Wood.

Furnish collects domestic furniture donated by members of the public from west London boroughs, diverting tons of items in good reuse condition from damaging landfills. Our clients are usually going into social housing for the first time and are nominated by a wide range of housing organisations and local charities.

Richmond Furniture Scheme's aims and objectives are to:

- Alleviate poverty by collecting donations of furniture in good condition from the general public and make it available to people in need at minimal cost.
- Encourage re-use and refurbishment of furniture and household goods thus reducing the amount of materials sent to landfill.
- Promote awareness of waste reduction by involving more of the community in the process of re-use.

Relief of poverty by: Provision of a furniture reuse project; Provision of a drop-in for reuse of children's clothes, toys and nursery equipment. Training: A supported volunteering project for adults with extra support needs. Reuse of shop display materials for other local charities.
