Urban Organics Network
The Urban Organics Network helps residents, community groups, businesses and government minimise the amount of biodegradable waste that goes to landfill through community-led composting innovation and activity.
Our activities and knowledge cover a wide, wide range of areas - from delivering workshops to members of the public to representing the sector at high profile events, via providing support to community composting organisations and helping to set up pioneering and award-winning low-risk, low-cost community composting solutions on estates.
We've set up a few simple How To Compost pages for people looking for simple advice and we have a couple of projects running at the moment in partnership with Capital Growth and Hackney Council. We're also working on two projects that are being designed to meet what we think are essential needs relating to composting, food and food growing in London so keep your eyes peeled...
