BRAG is a non-political community waste action group, made up of local Brentford residents. The formation of BRAG was facilitated by Hounslow Council's Recycling Team in 1999. The aims and objectives of BRAG are to raise awareness/advance education in the reduction, reuse and recycling of waste materials of all kinds and to promote, and assist on promoting, activities and facilities which seek to improve the local environment (Brentford) for the benefit of the local people The members of Brag have been part of raising awareness on waste and recycling issues in the local area and to promote action. The social aspect of Brag is also about developing a "Community feel"..
