London CRN Compost Network provides support to home and community composters to reduce the amount of biodegradable waste going to landfill. It works in the London Boroughs of Lambeth, Kensington & Chelsea, Hammersmith & Fulham, Wandsworth, Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Hackney, Haringey, Islington, Waltham Forest, Tower Hamlets, Redbridge, Havering and Kingston. compost strategy view the London CRN Community Compost Strategy - developed in partnership with member groups. communication The Compost Network will work closely with Recycle Western Riverside to provide information about composting. This include the development of a Composting Information Pack, as well as regular e-news and newsletters. funding The North London Composting Network is funded by the London Recycling Fund and is a partnership between London CRN and the North London Waste Authority, with support from the Community Composting Network, (CCN). It covers Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Hackney, Haringey, Islington and Waltham Forest. Havering and Redbridge Compost Network is run in delivered in partnership with the Borough and London CRN, who has received £32,902 from Defra’s Waste Partnership Fund. Tower Hamlet Compost Network is run in delivered in partnership with the Borough and London CRN, who has received £24,447 from Defra’s Waste Partnership Fund. The Kingston Compost Network is delivered by London CRN in partnership with the Royal Borough of Kingston Upon Thames. |
