To deliver this vision we must dramatically expand re-use services across the capital. LCRN members are unique in their ability to get products and items back into the market, Our Projects already serve 300,000 Londoners every year – many of whom are experiencing some of the worst poverty in Britain. However, we are only reusing around 10% of what we believe could be re-used. LCRN is uniquely placed to improve the social, environmental and economic impacts of the work of our Network and to increase this service.

In the future we envisage all of London’s re-use organisations working together to complement each other’s work and to make best use of precious resources. This strategic approach will link all reuse services to make them stronger, better coordinated and even more customer-focused. This is what we mean by an integrated service.

To raise investment and secure the long term future of the Reuse Network, we are creating a new independent social purpose company with the full involvement of existing providers of reuse services in London. To get involved please email rosie@lcrn.org.uk.
