Do you need help with furniture in your home?

1. What is available?

    Furniture and appliance reuse charities stock a wide range of:

  • beds
  • sofas
  • wardrobes
  • chests of drawers
  • dining tables
  • chairs
  • cookers
  • fridges
  • washing machines

    We always check that foam filled furniture meets the 1988 fire safety regulations. Appliances are tested and supplied with a guarantee.

2. How much does furniture cost?

    Prices range from £5-80 and appliances start at £50

3. How can I get to use the furniture service?

    The furniture is primarily for people needing the basics to fill a home.  We are keen to help people claiming a benefit or tax credit. Most projects require you to get a referral form. Contact one of the following in your local area and ask for a referral form:

  • Your social services department
  • Your housing office
  • Your CAB
  • Your health visitor

    Once you have a referral form you will be able to browse a selection of household items at your local furniture reuse charity. The furniture you choose will be delivered to your home.
