Starting weekly, every Saturday from 11th September: 10.30 am -1.00p.m. St. Mary's Secret Garden are offering a six week gardening course, covering all organic gardening basics, from sowing seeds, container growing, food growing, soil and composting, pests and weeds and garden design.

The garden setting provides the opportunity for would be gardeners on the course to experience first hand experience of “how to garden” with the help and guidance of professional experts. This “hands on” approach makes the course exciting and rewarding (for both student and teacher) as each week offers a different aspect of gardening that is both practical and knowledgeable.

It is hoped that by the end of the six week course, you will have the confidence to approach your garden, balcony, window box, allotment or any community green space.

Just bring warm comfortable clothing and a folder to keep your notes in. We provide hot drinks, biscuits and sturdy boots.

The cost for the 6 week course is £120 waged, £60 concessions.
