On the 21st April there will be an attempt to break the world record for the most cloth diapers (real nappies) changed at one time. The world record attempt is part of the International Great Cloth Diaper Change being carried out across the world and will be recorded by the Guinness Book of Records. There will be events at three locations. In Hackney, at the Round Chapel, 1D Glenarm Road, E5 0LY, along with refreshments and interesting stall. There will be one in Lewisham, at the Leemore Central Community Hub, Bonfield Road, where there will be a real nappy and baby clothes swap event starting at 2pm. Finally there is an event in Camden, at the Calthorpe Project, 258-274 Gray's Inn Road, WC1X 8LH. The actual world record attempts will last from 4.30pm - 6pm, though there will be plenty of opportunities beforehand to socialise. Please join the Great Cloth Diaper Change group on Facebook, and if you would like further information, please call Alice on 020 7324 4709 or e-mail alice@lcrn.org.uk.
