The Role

Joining an ambitious, forward-thinking team, you will actively assist in the development and implementation of the Waste and Recycling Strategy to help drive increased performance of this frontline service.

The Requirements

An appreciation of current waste management and environmental issues, you will have excellent written and oral communication skills, together with the ability to present clearly and foster strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Recycling Manager, you will lead on and support existing projects to translate strategic objectives into operational initiatives. You will also ensure that performance review mechanisms are in place to monitor progress and achievement.

The Individual

Your enthusiasm and commitment will be matched a background in recycling strategy coupled with good project management and strategic skills. You will also have an appreciation of the challenges of providing recycling services in an inner city location.

This post is for an initial 12 month period with scope for this to be extended.

This is a full-time role, with a salary of £32,532 - £35,055.
