On the new ISA registration:
Come October 2009 the new Independent Safeguard Authority (ISA) will require registration by all volunteers and employees who work with children and vulnerable people. These are in addition to CRB checks. But unlike CRB checks, which must be done each time someone enters a new workplace, the ISA registration is a one time thing

This First Thursday will give you ideas and advice on engaging young people, working with vulnerable people and attracting more volunteers into your organisation.
